Most of us are really getting bored, sad, angry and some of us are really going through depression during this long period of lockdown but staying at home is also necessary during this pandemic. We might not be happy because we are forced to stay indoors. However, we should be feeling grateful and lucky because we are stuck in our own comfortable house. We might really find a lot of difficulties to adapt to this new normal ;if we take a moment to turn back and see, there is still a good portion and chance during this lockdown .Since we have more time, here are some productive and interesting activities, games and participating in competitions that we can do during this lockdown.
Firstly, we can try cooking and baking. These activities are really useful as we can try out new recipes daily for the whole family. We can also bake and cook together with our family members so that it will fortune the bonds between the family members. At the same time, we can also improve our cooking and baking skills .If we are really interested in cooking and baking, we can also try out doing businesses with these skills such as selling cookies, doughnuts, and cakes. It gives us a good income, and this business can help us in our financial management.
Secondly, we can participate in an online art and craft competition such as painting,
drawing and craft activities. It will be really useful because we can learn something new and it can enhance our art skills at the same time. Moreover, it will really keep us busy during this period of lockdown. This competition can be for students aged 10-18 years old. The online art and craft competition can give money to the three best winners such as RM 150 to the first place, RM 100 to the second place and RM 80 to the third place. This online art and craft competition should be held for two weeks. Participants can take pictures of their art work and post it in all social media by tagging the organizer or send it through via WhatsApp. This online art and craft competition should be spread in all social media such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter so that people are aware about this competition.
Thirdly, we can also participate in an online competition for writing of poems and stories in English and Bahasa Malaysia. This writing competition can help us to improve our grammar and our writing skills. In addition, this competition can help us to enhance our language proficiency top. This competition will be a great opportunity for students age 11-19 years old. This competition should be spread in all social media and newspaper so that everyone can get aware of this competition. This online competition can reward the first three best winners with a cash prize ranging from RM 100 to RM 50. This competition should be held for a week. Participants can send their writing of poems and stories through an email.
Last but not least, we can also participate in an online game such as Mobile Legends or PUBG which is currently a worldwide game now. These competitions will really be fun and entertaining for young participants of age between 12-20 years old. Furthermore, the competition should be divided into two different categories which is category A(age 12-15 years old) and category B(age 16-20 years old).These types of events should be spread in all social media so that everyone can get aware of this competition. Besides, it should be held for two days for two different categories. There will be three winners for each category and each winner will receive a cash prize of RM 100 as a prize.
In conclusion, these interesting activities, fun games and amazing competitions will really be useful during this long period of lockdown as everyone can gain an amazing experience or learn new and different skills at the same time. This lockdown is a really great chance for us to explore more things around us.
