As the CoVid-19 cases continue to rise in the country, HELP University has made a difficult decision to move learning and student activities online. A radical change in university students’ educational experience is welcomed; although, the safety and well-being of students and staff members is still our highest priority.
As a lecturer working under the HELP Foundation Studies, I embraced these unprecedented changes with a healthy mindset. In order to stay productive and motivated, I decorate my study table with vibrant displays. For the past year of working from home, I have made my workspace tidy; with a corner sorted with my favourite books, and a place to accommodate my laptop. I have a stack of rough papers that I use for lectures and meetings; some for note-taking during my online classes, and other times for sketching Critical Thinking Skills Venn diagrams. As always, I keep my trusty water bottle near me to stay hydrated throughout the day. I use one of my favorite artworks as a frame to attach my sticky notes; those served to remind me of the upcoming meetings and datelines.
