On the 27th May 2023, AniHELP had organised a volunteering event of students to help out at a dog shelter, LASS (Lost Animal Souls Shelter). It is located in Kuala Selangor, and the students who had volunteered traveled to and fro on the HELP University’s shuttle van. The event began from 10AM and ended at 1PM.

Throughout the event, the students actively engaged in various tasks, such as cleaning the dog enclosures, bathing the dogs, and providing the dogs with much-needed love and attention. Under the guidance of the shelter staff, the students learned about responsible pet ownership, the importance of animal welfare, and the challenges faced by animal shelters in the community.

Overall, the volunteering event at the LASS shelter was not only a valuable learning opportunity, but also a memorable and enjoyable experience for all the students involved.
